The folks at Sangha have just launched a new Parents Self Serve Signup.
How it works
Once you sign up on the self serve page, you will receive an email invitation from Sangha with easy instructions.
You can help keep the environment safe and cleaner for the future generations and support LOV Newark at the same time. LOV receives a salvage/disposal donation from the recycler. Anything working or that can be repaired will find a good home. If not, parts will be salvaged and waste will be properly disposed of. Just call LOV Newark at 510-793-5683 if you need pick up. WHEN YOU VISIT
Please wear the appropriate sticker badge that are provide for you in the school office, while you are on campus. This is for the safety of all the children and staff at Kennedy Elementary. In case of an emergency situation every person on campus must be accounted for.
If you need to get something to your child, please stop at the school office first and the office staff will be happy to help you. Please do not go directly to the classroom and disturb the teacher while they are in session. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Registration for 2017-2018
Registration will be starting soon, March 14th! Just to be prepared here are a few of the things you will need:
Birth Certificate or Passport
Current Immunizations along with TB test results
Physical Examination dated after March 2017
2 proofs of residency
NUSD registration packet.
Once completed the registration packet and you have all the above required documents you will return them to Kennedy School office.
At that time you child will be enrolled .

ALL Students entering 7th grade in August 2017 need to have the Dtap immunization!
Students that currently have an exemption on file and will be entering 7th grade in August 2017 will need to immunized before entrance to 7th grade.

Kennedy Eagles Passport to Success
Just a reminder that stamped Passports are due the last Friday of the month. Students will receive a prize for stamped passports. If you have signed up for Sangha (texting information application) Kennedy Facebook page, joined the PTA, walked in the Newark Days parade, attended a PTA or ELAC meeting, volunteered in the classroom, bought Scrip or attended Back to School Night your student will receive a stamp for each. Come by the office or classroom to get the passport stamped. Passports will be returned to the students for the next month of Kennedy School travels!
